In the field of gravure printing plate making, a layer of uniformly thick copper needs to be electroplated on the surface of the printing roller, and then patterns and text are hot stamped onto the copper layer, which is ultimately used for printing printed materials. Currently, the known method for electroplating gravure printing plates mostly involves clamping the printing roller using a combination of conductive electrode rods, gravure plate plugs, locking nuts, and adapters. This clamping method requires manual operation at every step, and the quality standard for clamping the printing roller is that there should be surface contact between the roller and the electrode rod to maintain good conductivity. However, in actual production, the manual clamping effect usually results in line contact and point contact, leading to poor conductivity of the printing roller, uneven current distribution on the roller surface, inconsistent thickness of the electroplated layer, and ultimately affecting product quality. Additionally, poor conductivity can cause the electrode rod to overheat, make it difficult to disassemble the electroplated roller, and sometimes even endanger the safety of the operators. Frequent overheating weakens the conductivity of the electrode rod and reduces its lifespan. Manual clamping also easily leads to poor sealing of the end holes of the printing roller, allowing the electroplating solution to enter the roller cavity. When disassembling the printing plate, the electroplating solution inside the roller cavity leaks out, causing serious environmental pollution and significant waste, creating obstacles and difficulties for production. The purpose of this invention is to solve the issues of poor conductivity of workpieces, prevent environmental pollution, improve product quality, enhance work efficiency, and reduce production costs.
